With a team of over 30 people, Sign Effects is one of the region’s premium printing, signage, and brand development providers with manufacturing facilities in both Wodonga and Wangaratta.
We are currently seeking a spray-painting and curtain manufacturer champion for our Wodonga site. In this role you will be part of a highly motivated and experienced team, producing quality products used with signage, shop front, car wrapping, and truck curtain applications using your skills in our spray booth, to bring our customer’s jobs to life.
This position would ideally be suited to an experienced spray painter who enjoys variety in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for daily procedures within the workshop.
- Plan and complete allocated tasks to company quality standards within a designated timeframe.
- Remove and replace vehicle components, and prepare for painting, sanding, masking, buffing, and polishing. Clean paint guns, mix paint and hang truck curtains.
- Manufacture banner & truck curtains, (via measurement sheets – reading curtain patterns). Be able to use a curtain welding machine and hemming welder, for curtain repairs.
- Installation of truck curtains onto the vehicle.
- Preparation and painting of new equipment and complete paint jobs using standard operating procedures.
- Maintain spray booths and equipment.
Key Criteria:
- 3-5 years experience.
- Fleet/building/car repair and signage industry knowledge (desirable not essential).
- Attention to detail with an eye for quality.
